Terms of Service

These terms are between TopexHR (“we”) and the company that creates an account (“you”). The person who signs up confirms they are authorised to accept these terms for that company.

TopexHR is a hosted human-resources product: an employee directory, leave records, documents, salary structures and payroll processing. We provide it as it stands and keep improving it. We do not provide legal, tax or payroll advice — the figures you enter and the payments you make remain your responsibility.

You decide who in your company has access and what they may do. Keep credentials private, remove access when someone leaves, and tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. Anything done through your accounts is treated as done by you.

The employee records, documents and payroll data you put into TopexHR remain yours. We store and process them to run the service for you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell them and we do not use them to build products for anyone else.

Each company’s data is isolated from every other company’s. Our staff access your data only when you ask us to, or when we must to keep the service running or secure.

Do not use TopexHR to break the law, to store data you have no right to hold, or to attempt to reach another company’s information. Do not attack, overload or probe the service. We may suspend an account that puts other customers at risk, and we will tell you why.

We aim to keep the service available and to give notice before changes that materially affect how you work. Some interruption is unavoidable — maintenance, incidents, or a supplier failing. During planned maintenance you may be able to read your data while changes are paused.

Fees, if any, are those agreed with you in writing. This draft does not set prices, and nothing in the product charges you today.

You may stop using TopexHR at any time and ask us to delete your company’s data. We may end the agreement if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached. On termination we will give you a reasonable opportunity to export your data before it is removed.

The service is provided without warranties beyond those the law requires. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

If we change these terms we will publish a new version with a new version number and effective date, and ask you to accept it. The version you accepted is recorded against your account.
