Questions people ask first
- Do I pay for people who have left?
- No. You pay for the people on your active directory at the end of the month. Somebody who leaves in March is not billed in April, and their records stay where they are.
- Can I run payroll on the Starter plan?
- No — payroll is a Growth feature, and it is genuinely enforced rather than just listed here. Starter covers employee records, leave and documents. If you already pay salaries through an accountant or another system, Starter is the honest choice.
- Is GST included?
- No — prices exclude GST, which is added at 18% on the invoice. We say so here rather than at checkout.
- What happens when my trial ends?
- Your 14 days start the moment you sign up, and the days remaining are shown in the top bar throughout. When they run out nothing is deleted and nothing locks: the account is flagged for us to get in touch, and you keep working while we sort out payment.
- Can I get my data out?
- Yes, all of it, whenever you ask — every employee, salary structure, payroll run and document, as files rather than a screenshot. Being able to leave is part of the product, not a retention lever.
- Is there a minimum?
- 20 people. Below that a spreadsheet is genuinely fine and we would rather say so than sell you something.
